NANUKI

For grown-ups

Leaving Nanuki.

You can request removal of your Nanuki account and its associated information without buying anything or keeping the app installed.

The account service is operated by Dharmendra Kumar Choudhary, shown on Google Play as Hello Nanuki. See operator and contact details.

Before deleting

Export family voices you want to keep. Account deletion removes account backups; an exported copy stays wherever you saved it. Deletion cannot be reversed by signing up again.

From the app

  1. Open Profile → Delete account.
  2. Review the information and recordings to be removed, then confirm.
  3. Wait for the result. A failed step means deletion has not completed; follow the recovery message and retry. Contact support if it continues to fail.

Without the app

Email support@nanuki.co from the address used for your account with the subject Delete my Nanuki account. Nanuki must verify account control before deleting data. You will not be asked for a password or sign-in code. If you no longer control that address, explain this to support.

Do not attach a child’s full name, identity document or recording to the initial request. The verification process must use only information necessary for the request.

What the flow removes

The active family and child profiles, associated personal stories and service records, personal story media, cloud family recordings, account-linked prepared-library history and the sign-in identity. Shared catalogue artwork is not personal account data and remains available to other readers.

Where a storage operation fails, deletion is reported as incomplete and the information needed to retry is retained. The app also attempts cleanup on this device; another device or an exported copy needs separate removal. Separate encrypted family-audio recovery copies are scheduled for removal 30 days after retirement. A minimal encrypted marker remains to prevent restoration of deleted audio. Other infrastructure backups expire on their provider cycle; limited records may remain where necessary for a legal obligation, a dispute or proving that your request was handled. See the privacy policy for details.

Response and verification

We will respond within the applicable legal deadline, normally one month for EEA/UK privacy requests, and explain any permitted extension. We may ask you to confirm a request by replying from the account email. If access to that email is lost, we will explain a proportionate alternative; do not send identity documents unless a necessary secure process has been agreed. Sending an email starts a request; deletion is complete only when confirmed.
